Sent my iPod on vacation for $30 to visit Digiexpress.

I paid my fees ($30+). I sent in my iPod classic. They sent it back in about two weeks. It arrived in their box, but my original box was inside, unopened. No note, no call, no email, no communication. They must have some drooling moron in the company that just takes the iPod's that come in and ships them right back. Maybe it is the company's only employee (the owners son). No service, no communication, no attempt at a repair. At least I got my iPod back, at least the iPod got to travel one last time. Digiexpress, you really suck big hairy donkey balls! Thanks for nothing!

IPod repair crooks

I sent in my iPod for a new hard drive the first week of January. They replied about a week later saying the parts were out of stock, and asked if I wanted to wait. I agreed to wait, and we exchanged emails checking the status over the next 3+ months. They never did receive the required part (even though they still had them advertised on the site, for sale and for the same repair service), so I cancelled the repair service. They sent my iPod back reasonably quickly, but now I'm waiting 2+ months for my refund. Their initial response was that it could take 30 days to process, but that would have been over a month ago. They continue to reply with apologetic and polite emails, but there is no indication that they are going to refund my money. Avoid these crooks at all costs!

thats because they hope your going to forget about it. The owner only lets so many refunds be processed at a time and the company is loosing money because of there terrible business practices, so i would bet you will be out of that refund

What a joke of a company (Digiexpress)

Like so many others that fell under the illusion of the thought that we would be charged $25.00 for diagnosis and repair, only to be charged nearly $200 for a fix. I took the opportunity to look up the parts that were to be replaced and thought they over-charged for the parts they replaced in my iPods. I sent 2 iPods to these people, only to have them sent back because one iPod's digitizer was coming apart at the bottom of the iPod and the apps were jumping around the screen (ghost touching), adhesive was showing on the outer part of the glass, superficial scratches on the cases. The 2nd iPod had to have a battery and the on/off button replaced. Once I got the iPod back I realized that the headphone jack doesn't work. Had to send that one back as well. Then they have the audacity to make us pay the postage bill to send the device back to them. If you need your Apple product or anything that they claim to fix repaired, it's best to stay away from these people and find someone else.

thats because they let techs that are training work on the ipod touches first and more then often the techs mess them up and they will try to blame the customer for the mess up. Your right they are a joke and they should not be allowed to continue business the owner is greedy and only cares about getting money no matter how it is done and if your ipod gets messed up in the process so be it

IPod 60 gb white

Submitted my iPod with a $29,.00 eval PayPal payment. I was then notified that it needed a $94.00 hard drive replacement. I sent another PayPal payment for that amount totaling $123.00 to repair my iPod. I was then notified several weeks later that I would also need to send another PayPal payment for a new photo card. This would bring repair cost to $203.00 for my iPod ( that is worth maybe $50.00. And, that did not guarantee that additional repairs would be needed. I strongly believe that DigiExpress should have completed all repairs with the $125.00 they had originally told me it would take to complete repairs. And, at the least, refund my $79.00 when they determined that additional expense was needed. I am ANGRY with DigiExpress repair policies and procedures. And, unless I am refunded at least $80.00 shortly, I will spread every iPod owner I know to never deal with them. They are not ethical or fair.

Digiexpress sucks

Digiexpress replaced my battery in a I phone 3 and when returned did not work, had fingerprints under the screen and the touch screen wouldn't work. When I contacted customer a Chelsea who claims she is the the Customer Service Manager keeps saying she wants me to send it in to have them look at it. I told her she they have fixed it right the first time and if im going to send it back they should pay for shipping. My advise is to not waist your time with them, a lot of bad experances and reviews of this company on the net.

Digiexpress.com slow and unwilling to help

Grandson's itouch with broken screen was sent to them on July 5th, repirs approved and paid for July 11th. Still have not received. Called on the 20th and said they had not even started repairs. "Customer services was not helpful, did first say that they could now get it fixed but I would have to pay additional $65 to get it here before the 22nd when we leave on vacation. Customer service not willing to help out at all, in fact she was quite rude, not wanting to hear my concerns and basically would not help resolve the issue. If I attempted to talk to her she said I was interupting. Will never use this service again. and hope no one else does.

Do Not Use Digiexpress For Your IPod Repair!!!

I sent 2 IPods to Digiexpress for repair. Digiexpress said they fixed my 20 gig IPod and returned it to me. However, the very first time I tried it, the IPod was still not working! I put a full charge on the battery, but it still would not even boot up! When I called Digiexpress to see if I could send it back so they could fix it, they informed me that 30 days had passed and that I was no longer eligable to have fixed under the warrently and that I would have to pay again! For the 80 gig IPod I sent to them for repair, I did not receive back from Digiexpress until approximately 2 months had passed! At least the 80 gig IPod worked when I tried it. I caution anybody that is considering sending thier IPod to Digiexpress for repair to reconsider and send it to a different IPod repair shop. Digiexpress is a rip off and could care less about pleasing customers. They are only about making a quick dollar.

I wasn't sure about this whole idea of sending my ipad to them to fix the screen but now I know my suspensions were probably right. Thank you and I'll try to find some other way to fix it.

Thanks, I will avoid them

I sent my Ipod touch there a couple weeks ago. I got the e-mail saying that they received it and it was ready for repair..

it has now been 3 weeks, and I have still not gotten my Ipod touch back.. right now I'm just kinda hoping I get it back.

If I ever crack the screen again, it will never be to digiexpress. :x

I agree! Customer service totally rude and service is slow...but they sure were not slow telling me I owed an additional $50 when the part was only suppose to be $29!

I am just hoping my grandson will eventually get his touch back.
